Question:
How do guests find my B&B accommdation in RankSpot?
-
Answer:
It all depends on you! In case a guest is looking for an accommodation on a selected location, make sure you include an entry on your site which shows every significant detail of your location. A shortlist is Country - Town - Street, expanding upon it may include known codes like regional codes, country codes (e.g. CA, US, NO), country calling codes (e.g. +33 or 0033), postcodes (ZIP code), country specific TLD's (e.g. de, tw), geographical codes (longitude, latitude and height system) etc. Also abbreviations of codes are useful.
Avoid relative phrases like a stone throw from or close to in a location list, this is not much useful for a guest, always state an accurate distance.

Question:
We submitted our website for inclusion in Rankspot, but can not find our B&B, what is the problem?
-
Answer:
Possibilities:
- We do not include websites with excessive banners, links or even irritating pop-ups on a homepage. If a guest visits your website he expects information about YOUR accommodation, consider to place links to third parties websites on a separate page accessible through a menu on your homepage.
- Your website is not in the google index, check it on www.google.com, using the search site:www.youraccommodation.com.
-
Question:
Why an accommodation search engine? There are already thousands of lodging guides and directories.
-
Answer:
Unlike most lodging guides and directories inclusion in RankSpot is free and not restricted to a country or region. The chance to have more accommodations listed is much more higher. At least if an accommodation has a website.
